The Laurel Knob Farm
Welcome to your Dream Mountain Farm Venue! Celebrate your special day with an
original 1890’s Farmhouse, Apple orchard, Closed in Barn, Custom Built Chapel, and
many other touches that make for the ultimate Farm Event Experience. The Venue is
outfitted with multiple options for Ceremony locations, along with comfortable spaces
for guests to enjoy through out the event. There are options for lodging inside of the
beautifully updated Farmhouse. Guest can wonder around the carefully curated
property while being surrounded with lots of picturesque scenery. The farm is open for
events beginning July 1st, 2023.
The Hebert's
Father and daughter duo, Troy and Hailey Hebert from Cajun Country in Louisiana teamed up to purchase Laurel Knob Farms in 2018. They shared a dream of creating a venue that people could gather to celebrate special occasions and make life long memories.
Traveling the country and visiting nearly a dozen states, they settled on a very special place in the Blue Ridge Mountains called the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau. It provided all the vibes and beauty they were looking for. Mountains, rushing water, lush trees, blooming landscapes, fresh air, quaint, historical and best of all, Happy People.
When they first drove up to the late 1800s farm that winter, it was covered with a foot of snow. It was like a lifesize snow globe. Then as the snow melted it came to life with bright flowers, lush green trees, tropical plants and wildlife. It is simply the paradise dreams are made of.
Troy and Hailey spent the next five years carefully and thoughtfully turning it into a unique time capsule of an Era of simpler and memorable times.
Their number one priority was to preserve the historical character of a farm stead that has stood and weathered the test of time for over 125 years. Wow, if only the walls could talk?
What a fitting tribute to those couples who will take their lifetime vows to one another or simly want to celebrate that very special occasion.
